For Your Community
These are just a few ways your Sodexo dining team is helping the UMass Boston area community.
Pine St Inn
Each month, members of our Dining Services team volunteer to assist with food prep and culinary education with the residents of Pine St. Inn. In addition, a portion of the sales at the OXEDOS StreetGrub Food truck (that visits campus regularly) are donated to Pine St. We also run a canned food drive for Pine St. Inn each year.
Toys for Tots
Our Dining locations are proud to support the UMass Toys for Tots campaign. Watch for information in mid-November and remember to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Campus Center Food Court. Donations will be collected and brought to a local Toys for Tots recipient organization.
Student Org support
Does your organization need support for your community service activities? Please contact Michael Reilly, GM at (617) 287-5033 for more information.
Institute for Community Inclusion
We are proud to support and employ members of the Institute for Community Inclusion. ICI offers training, clinical, and employment services, conducts research, and provides assistance to organizations to promote inclusion of people with disabilities in school, work, and community activities.
CKUMB, part of the Campus Kitchens Project, a national nonprofit organization, partners with on-campus dining and local resources to rescue unserved, usable food, reducing waste for donors and food costs for meal recipients
